Remove alternate link from header logo

Hello

What seems like ages ago I had the logo image for my site direct to a custom website. I was told which file the custom code went into and given the code.

Since we have changed so many forums (this was 2015 LOL) I can’t find it.

Can you please tell me how to make the image logo in the header link back to its own site OR what folder I would have added the code to so I can find it and change it back.

Thank you so much … still here 6 years later

Hi @artthescience,

Thanks for reaching out.
I have checked your website but didn’t recognize the problem you described here. Can you please provide any screenshot marked with it or any video that helps us to recognize the problem?

Thanks

Hi there,

I added a secure note with details

Hi @artthescience,

Thanks for explaining it properly. Can you please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine the child theme further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

I am pretty sure you can answer my question without loggin in:

If you were to tell me which file I would add custom code to for redirecting the logo image link to a custom one, what would that file be called? I can find it myself

Thank you!

Hi @artthescience,

Yes, I can name the file where the code for the logo has been added, but as you have modified it way back I asked the login credentials to be sure before it.
The file name is _brand.php and you may found it in your child theme and path will be framework\legacy\cranium\headers\views\global_brand.php.

Thanks

Amazing … I will try there and let you know how it goes

Hi @artthescience,

You are most welcome.

Found it and fixed it - THANK YOU so much
