Remove "All Taxonomies" from Manage Sidebars

Hello,

I would like to remove all the taxonomies from the manage sidebars. I have a very large site with thousands of taxonomies that slows down the load time and memory. Is there a way I can remove this list of taxonomies from the manage sidebar. This would help greatly. Thanks.

Thanks for writing in!

You can always manage the widgets that displays in your sidebar. Simply go to Appearance > Widgets and add or remove the widgets in your Main Sidebar widget area.

I understand what you are instructing me to do, however that is not my issue. From the managing sidebars page I would like to remove the options to select any taxonomies. As I said I have thousands of taxonomies and it slow down the load time in the manage sidebar page. Is this doable to remove? Thanks.

Are you referring to the Appearance > Sidebars?

Removing this area will require theme modification or a complete recode for the sidebar feature in theme. Please keep in mind that custom modifications is beyond the scope of our support.
