Removal of YouTube buttons in "The Grid" lightbox

Hi I’m linking my youtube videos in the grid, they show up in the light box and I’d like to be able to hide the channel and the video name and other youtube options… Is this possible?
I have previously been able to remove the titles from the photo lightbox, but not sure what css data is allocated to that section.

Hi Jgollin,

Thanks for reaching out.

It seems not possible now compared before and it’s due to the limitation of Youtube’s API plus on how it’s implemented to the plugin. May I know how you added and link the Youtube video? If it’s really linked to lightbox then there is no way to control without other modifications. And please provide a sample in case I’m testing a different setup.

Thanks!

Hi i connected it using posts.
So I made a grid that had categories, then I created a new post.
In that post I allocated it a category, then down the bottom in the grid options I selected video, then in video under youtube link I put the link in there.
Which has allowed me to use non API videos, I just want to hide the Youtube functionality. So people can’t go to the page from watching the video.

Hi @social,

Are you referring to video post format or the grid’s video post meta? That’s because there is only youtube ID for the grid’s post meta, the URLs are for actual video URL and not youtube URL.

But regardless, it appears not possible as it appears the same on my end. I result with the same, though, if it’s something different then it’s best if I could heck it directly. But, maybe it’s not really possible since it’s a lightbox.

Thanks!
