we have been using the “Essential Addons for Cornerstone” Plugin for the past 2 years. Last week, I contacted their customer support with a couple of questions.
They came back and told me that Cornerstone no longer allows third-party API integrations, so they have stopped developing the plugin and have no plan to release another version of this plugin.
I was very surprised, perhaps I missed an update over the past couple of months.
We are currently using the EA carousel element on a number of main pages on our website, e.g. under the Milestone section on: https://www.managetopia.com/managetopia/
The EA plugin is very easy to use and enables flexible customization of the layout and display of headers, sub-headers, text etc. This basically was the reason, why we couldn’t use the Classic Slider Element. Also, reverting to the revolution slider extension at the time was not an option, as I had lots of issues implementing the layout I needed.
My question…can I continue using the EA Classic elements for the foreseeable future?
Even better, are there plans to upgrade the current Classic Slider element to support the same flexibility as the EA Plugin?
