Related Post Image cut off

The images for my related post are cut off , Is there a way to make it show the entire content on the image like my popular post on the side bar?

Hi,

Upon checking I can see that it is being caused by jetpack plugin.

Can you try deactivating Jetpack photon module and see if that resolves the issue.

I turned off this feature but the images still look the same

Hello There,

Thanks for updating in! I can see that you use the Jetpack’s Related Post extension. At the moment, the Related Post extension is using the medium size image.

Details on Related Post Thumbnails

  1. A post’s featured image will appear as the thumbnail. If you haven’t set a featured image for the post, we will look for slideshows and galleries, and then for any images that may be attached to the post. If we don’t find any image attached to that post, we’ll look for single images you may have inserted in the post. If you’ve inserted an image that is hosted on another site, we can use it too.
  2. Thumbnails are resized and cropped automatically using Photon to be 350px wide by 200px tall (1.75:1 ratio) to allow for a consistent visual display. Since this is done automatically, there’s no way to fine-tune where the image is cropped.

I turned it off but the images in related post are still cut off

Hi again,

I see the content is being served by the cache, please clear the cache and disable optimization plugin / service and see if this resolves the issue.

Let us know how this goes!

I disabled Jetpack, same issue
I cleared cache, I don’t know why the full image wont show like it does on the side bar “Popular Post”

Hi,

Jetpack is adding a size to your image urls. If I remove it the images shows the full size.
