Reinstalling Crafty on Pro and images not downloading

Hi,
I installed crafty once and then deleted everything i.e. media, pages and posts and installed it again and only the wording and formatting gets downloaded. I have searched the forum and docs extensively but I can’t get any of the fixes to work like &clean-cache (docs don’t show an appropriate example url where this would be placed and the forum has references to another url example including) plus I changed the theme and changed it back and it didn’t clear the demo cache.

Can someone login and try fix it or tell me a solution that works.

Another small question… Is there a way to bring the demo products down automatically or is it only possible to manually add them? I have woocommerce installed. That is why I deleted everything in the first place and got into this mess. I know there is a youtube hack to import woocommerce’s products but I am interested in the crafty products…

Thanks heaps for the help. I will send login details in a secure note.
Cheers, Benja

Hello @Benja,

Thanks for writing in! Installing the Crafty site demo does not import the products. You can only have the Crafty demo pages, posts, header and footer and the theme option settings. The products will not be included due to image licensing. You can use the WooCommerce sample products instead. It will have the same look and feel as with the Crafty products demo.

Best Regards.

Hi Ruenel.
Thanks for your comment. I mentioned that was the cause of me deleting everything and trying to reload the template again. I still have the recurring problem where the template doesn’t reload the posts images and pages properly because for some reason the cache wont clear despite trying all the tricks I could find posted here. I have already sent a secure note with the login details if theme.co could please help me find the problem why crafty wont reload properly. Thanks again for the help !

Hello @Benja,

I have tried other means of importing the Crafty demo into your site and I am having trouble as well.

This is using the All in One WP Migration and still it fails. I do not encounter any of the issues in our local testing servers though. Maybe it is my connection or something. I will leave you the file URL in the secure note below so that you can download it and try it to import the Crafty demo.

Kindly let us know how it goes.

Thanks for trying to help. I tried the idea for a few days to see if I could get it to work because it stuck with me as well. Tried older versions of that plugin as suggested by some articles online to get around the stuck and it blew up the install so I reinstalled everything again to try one last time to fix the stuck demo cache that blocks redownload of assets and it failed. Maybe you guys need a big clear demo cache button somewhere. Anyways I had to move on and just changed the subdirectory of the install. Luckily I wasnt set on any subdirectory in particular. Thanks again for the support. I will be sure that in the future I will not delete any assets downloaded from the designcloud until I have my heart set on it haha. Cheers!

Glad to hear that, @Benja.
