Reincorporate Sidebar

I’d like to add some call to action buttons in a sidebar for my blog posts. However, I can’t seem to get the blog posts to display sidebars, even when a sidebar is assigned through the “Appearance” menus. I think I may have removed sidebars in code a while back, but I don’t remember what/if I did.

Hi David,

Thanks for reaching out.
There are many possibilities for not showing the sidebar and removing the sidebar code is one of the reasons behind that. I would suggest you provide the login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

Hi David,

I have checked the Single post page and found that the Text Widget added the Blog Sidebar, which showing properly in the Sidebar.

I have temporarily added other widgets to and it appears in the sidebar. If that is not the case and you are trying to point out something else, please provide any screenshot marked with the issue or any video that helps us to recognize the problem.
Thanks

It appears that post (which was an empty trash post) was the only one with a working sidebar. See: https://kingatlaw.attorney/3-paths-to-divorce/, which doesn’t have a sidebar. What would cause the sidebar to appear on some posts but not others?

Hello David,

I checked your given Post URL and it seems that you have set the “Full-width Post Layout” settings from the individual post settings just because it overrides the global settings and hides the sidebar.

Thanks
