Register previously revoked license

Hi,

I’m a developer at an agency and I’m trying to register a license that was previously added to a staging site. I have revoked the license on the staging site, but when I try to register the license in my account or activate the theme on the live site I am getting this message:

“Your code is valid but looks like it has already been used on another site. You can revoke and re-assign within your Themeco account.”

I know this license was purchased previously through our Envato account but I am wondering if the person in my position previously register it to a different Themeco account?

I understand how to register a license for a staging and live environment, but I was not the person who originally activated this license.
