We are really sorry to hear that you are facing difficulties in using Header and Footer builder tool. In general Header and Footer is fairly simple and easy to use tool that can be used to create unique page specific or global headers and footer.
I would highly encourage you to please take a look at the video introduction of Header and footer builder that will help you to get started with the same.
