ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined

I’m suddenly (meaning: I made no changes to the site recently other than theme, etc, updates) getting a lot of jQuery errors when the page loads. Also, the dropdown menus on desktop and the hamburger on mobile don’t work (generally a JS issue).

I fixed the problem by disabling minification in the caching plugin. It’s not the optimal solution but it worked. . . .

Glad you’ve sorted it out. X already serves minified resources so you don’t need to minify them. Please consult with your caching plugin developer or a service like https://wpspeedguru.com/ to give you advice on how to use minification. The setup depends per site.
