Redo Recent Posts in homepage with Cornerstone

I want to redo my home page using cornerstone, i used to have a code to show recent posts in 2 columns and 2 rows.

I tried to replicate this in cornerstone with no results.

Left should have a single post, big, below 2 small post, and the right column was inverse two small on top and one big down. However, they are not aligned properly.

Is it possible to do it?

OH MY! It sees you have to use a single row to achieve what I wanted… I was using 2.

If you duplicate the recent posts widget and stack one in top of the other then you get that result.
