"Record not found" on homepage after switching to App demo content

Switched to App demo content after installing X theme.

Homepage now says “Record not found.”

When editing in Cornerstone, message is displayed: “Uh oh! An unidentifiable error is preventing the live preview from loading. Switching to Skeleton Mode.”

All other pages seem to be fine.

Deactivated plugins, searched through the Support forum, but have not been able to figure out the issue. Seems like maybe something is missing from the App homepage code?

Nevermind. I seem to have fixed it by going to the homepage’s “Edit Page” screen, scrolling down, and manually selecting a slider to appear below the masthead. I didn’t seem to need to do that for other demos like Agency, so this was a little confusing.

Hi,
I am having the exact same problem with the App Demo Home page, @vallebuonadigital’s solution did not work. Please advise. All other pages seem to function normally. This identical issue occurred on two separate installs (I switched one of my licenses to a new URL), so I know it is not the environment causing the issue. No slider downloaded with the install either time and yes, Revolution was installed and active.

I got Home to load by importing a random revolution slider. Please advise how and where to download the actual “App” home page slider that did not import with the expanded demo.

Hi There,

I managed to fix your page by going to Wp Admin : Pages : edit page : select no slider above and below masthead and saving it.
