Recent Posts - Properly size images

Hi,

when I check my site One Million Places with GTMetrix or Insights I got the notice:

Properly size images
Serve images that are appropriately-sized to save cellular data and improve load time.

I use the Recent Posts Shortcode from X to display these images.
I there a setting or anything I can do to optimize this?
