Recent posts element - post order

Hi,
I have a page here > https://got2jot.co.uk/bullet-journalling/ which uses the ‘classic recent posts’ element at the bottom.

I wanted to change the order so updated the published dates. However, this hasn’t changed the order at all.

Can you help?

There are 3 levels of cache with Siteground. I disabled all 3 and reloaded the site again. The order remains the same.

The weird thing is that the order isn’t according to the (revised) published dates.

What else can I try?

Even if you updated the dates, the published dates remains. You will need to modify the recent posts elements to be able to allow the modified dates will be displayed. To get you started, assuming the child theme is set up, please add the following code in your child theme’s functions.php file
