Hi there,

I’m thinking about switching my homepage from blog posts to a static page. Currently the posts are aligned below each other with a featured image, the date and an excerpt. That looks really nice.

If I switch I would like to achieve a similar look with the element Classic Recent Post
It would be great if the title was displayed completely, the date would be visible (in the same style as it is now) and an excerpt would be shown.

Hi Christian,

Thank you for writing in, regretfully the native Recent post element/shortcode will not able to achieve that same layout. You might want to try other display recent posts plugin.

You might also want to try the Essential Grid extension for interactive posts grid.
