Reason for disabling cover photo buddypress

Hi guys,
We are trying to customize buddypress intergration with x theme, but we just wanted to ask is there a specific reason why cover photos were disabled for xtheme buddypress? Is it safe to enable it?

Hey Tore,

Regretfully, as support staff, we do not know the exact reason why certain BuddyPress features are disabled so we could not say if it’s safe or not to enable it. It could be related to the theme’s design where if you enable it, the layout might be broken.

In any case though, I’d recommend that you consult with another third party developer to get more feedback especially or specifically for your project. You might need some custom development if something breaks.
