Really stuck on mobile navigation

Hi there, it has always been really easy to create a nice mobile menu where each level was clickable and the menu flowed down from the toggle burger at the top (well that’s what I would usually choose). But now it seems that the links for dropdown aren’t clickable if there is another level of sub links?

So then I went to create it with layered like I did on another site (ecotechsystems.co.uk) but I can’t find toggle option. I tried reactivating Parent theme rather than child pro but still didn’t give me toggle option.

What is my best option to ensure I can have a smart burger toggle with a drop down menu that allows clickable links to work as hierarchy? I am completely stumped. Thanks so much.

Thanks for writing in!

Please edit your custom header and use the Navigation Off-Canvas element. Your Submenu trigger should be the indicator and not the Anchor so that you can still click on the menu item link and click on the indicators to open the submenus.

Hi thanks so much for your help @ruenel. I’m getting there, but still can’t quite fathom out why it is so hit and miss on clicking indicators to go down a level. Sometimes works and takes me to sub menu links, and sometimes just goes to top page. I tried increasing size of subindicator but feel I’m doing something wrong still. I am a bit desperate to fix this and have probably over fiddled with it. I think the main one that is isssue is under Dorothy Wordsworth - can get make the journey to drop down. But then it is really hit and miss on getting to Amy’s journey. Ideally, I’d like to slightly reduce gap between menu items, and have them sit so that the indicators are further to right and words further to left. But I can’t think how to do it. I may be a bit green with off canvas. Many thanks for any help.

I check your website and it seems that you can now click the indicators for the dropdown properly. I also tried to check the Dorothy Wordsworth and the submenus of it will just show when I click the indicator. That being said, would you mind sharing more information on the issue you are facing to?
