Read more tage Wordpress editor not working

Hi,

I want my clients to edit content in de Wordpress editor so they can add a Read more tag (for large texts), but when I insert it, the text isn’t shorter. Am I missing something a must adjust in Wordpress/Cornerstone/Pro to make this work?
