Reactivate Renew portfolio filter

I think I deactivated the portfolio filter in renew.
Could you please tell me how to activate it again?

Thanks for writing in! Simply edit your Portfolio page and check the following configurations under Portfolio Settings section.

Thank you, but I have no portfolio page, because I don’t want the Renew portfolio layout.
Apparently that’s the cause of the problem.
Is there a way to solve this by using a shortcode, code snippet or custom css?

Hi Hannes,

Unfortunately, the portfolio filter can only be added in portfolio page.
That functionality is embedded to the portfolio template.

Its possible to add it on your custom page with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.
