Reached Monthly Allowed CPU Seconds issue

Hi,

I’ve had a couple of warnings about Monthly Allowed CPU Seconds on my Siteground hosting. The issue seems to be stemming from the admin-ajax running too many CPU executions.

It’s not a traffic issue, as it’s not a super trafficked site and I’m nowhere near the traffic limit.

I’ve looked at the general recommendations for preventing admin-ajax CPU executions. But is there anything theme specific that we can do to clear up this issue?

I’m concerned because Siteground have stated that sites will be shutdown if these limits keep getting hit. I’m unsure why I’m getting anywhere close to these limits, as I barely use the Wordpress backend, etc.

Thanks!

Hi There,

Thanks for writing in! This issue can happen due to your active plugins as well. On the X theme end, mostly when you’re editing using Cornerstone, admin-ajax.php will be utilized.

Could you please try following this guide and see if you can isolate this issue (https://kinsta.com/blog/admin-ajax/).

Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!
