Hello,
I use a Mac laptop with a touch pad. I don’t use a mouse. It has been a struggle trying to re-size a layer on the editing area.
To resize the layer box, I’m supposed to use my cursor to hover over one of the 4 corners of the box. Each time I do that, the cursor changes to a “move” symbol, instead of the “arrow” symbol for re-sizing. I just end up moving the whole box. Also, instead of increasing or decreasing the size of the box, I end up grabbing the “rotate”.
It’s already hard to get my cursor to change to the “arrow” symbol. When I tried to move the arrow, they then change to “move” or back to a normal cursor again.
I know I can use the x & y axis boxes to key in the exact location on the grid. But that’s only if you know the coordinates. It’s awfully tough for non-mouse users. Especially when I want to move & size certain layers into the right place. Eg moving an image to be in the center of a line shape (such as a rectangle). Or moving & sizing the line shape (rectangle) to be exactly in the center of the image. I hope you understand what i mean.
If you have any solutions to share, please let me know. I’m spending too long a time trying to move & size layers!
