Raw content not showing

Hi All,

Firstly, i found the new layout a bit confusing, but i got there.

I am trying to add an embedd to a file that i host. The code seems to work in the preview but when i look at the frontend, nothing.
Has this feature been disabled? If so what else can i use?

The code is at the bottom of the content (body) in this link https://www.spacekidets.co.uk/gallery/

Hello @OASAcademy,

Thanks for writing to us.

It seems that the iframe is working fine at my end. It might be the issue of browser cache at your end. I would suggest you clear your browser cache and then check it again.

Thanks

Right, so if i go into the back end of the website and edit, i can see the embedd code and indeed the correct screen shot, but its not showing once its save, it is actually below meteorites.
Please see screenshot below.
I am getting concerned about the increasing number of issues i am finding for this theme, it was not broken before you made the changes you made.
As it seems i cannot upload a screenshot due to it being too large, here is a link. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qcNnupqlRciBt1j9Yanuifo5rtSoDLNY/view?usp=sharing

Hey Alastair,

There’s no more content after the Meteor iframe so it’s possible that all of us, including you, are seeing a cached version of the page.

If you’re using a caching plugin, please clear all caches and contact your web host to clear all server caches also if they have a caching system.

After that, please give us the following information in a Secure Note so we could check the content in the builder.

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin username and password

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts.

Thanks.

Please find the details

Just tried again for this, the embedd code i use is

Tried to put in as RAW code, using that block, is that correct for embedding code or is there another utility i should be using?

Hi Alastair,

The issue is you did not put a closing </iframe> tag on some of your iframes so they are tangle up. Please make sure you put a closing </iframe> tag.

Things you can do to clean up your page.

  • Put a Youtube embed code to a video element, (not text element)
  • Put your iframe code to a RAW Content element, (not classic raw)

Hope it helps,
Cheers!

I do see what you mean.

Also, is there a way to edit an element once i click on it. Like with the interactives, i have been having to delete the element to re add the raw code for example if i wanted to edit something.

Regarding the solar system part, i have ammended the tag and for the other one above, but still does not play ball.

Seems to now be working, i think you’re right the tag was missing.

But it would still help if i knew how to edit one of these elements without having to delete and re insert it?

Thanks again

Hi Alastair,

Glad that we are able to help you with this. But it is not clear what do you mean by edit one of these elements. If you are trying to point Video and Raw Content elements that were referred by my colleague, you can find the edit options and you don’t need to delete or re-insert them.

Thanks

Where, are the edit options? which button?

Hi Alastair,

There is not separate Edit button is available, you can edit the content by clicking into the content section of these elements.
