Random white boxes on woocommerce cart page

Hi there,

I have some random white boxes on my cart page when you have an item in your cart (I have attached an image).

Do you happen to know how I can remove these? Ideally, I’d like to avoid using the “display:none” and would like to solve the problem as to why they are showing in the first place

Warm,
Dana

Hi Dana,

Thank you for reaching out to us. I tried to replicate this in my local setup but I don’t see such issues on my end, perhaps this could be your setup related problem. You can check for the following first:

  1. Ensure everything is up to date according to our version compatibility list at https://theme.co/docs/version-compatibility. Please follow the best practices when updating your theme and plugins. See https://theme.co/docs/product-updates for more details.

  2. If you’re using a caching plugin, clear all caches including browser cache then deactivate your caching plugin and other optimization plugins. If you’re using a CDN, please clear the CDN’s cache and disable optimization services.

  3. Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

  4. Remove custom CSS, and deactivate your child theme if using and switch to parent theme (take a backup of your custom CSS before removing first).

If the issue persists then please get back to us with the result of the steps above and URL/User/Pass of your WordPress dashboard using the Secure Note functionality of the post to follow up the case.

Thanks!

Hi there,

Thanks for the tips! I tried the above but was not able to get rid of the white boxes. They are still showing if you add an item to the cart and view both the “Cart” and the “Checkout” pages. I added a secure note with login details. I appreciate all the help!

Warm,
Dana

Hello Dana,

You are seeing it because of the unnecessary html tags in the cart page.

I went ahead and removed the html tags. Please check your cart page now.

Thank you! I should’ve known to check there first…I appreciate your help as always.

You are most welcome!
