Random users role being changed to admin

Hey guys,

I have not got any user plugins installed ( I used the plugin User Role Editor years ago to change the name of subscriber to "member’ but since have reset settings and deleted, I have contacted the plugin author and he told me that his plugin could not be causing this issue) and I’ve been having this problem for a very long time.

Users, subscribers, customers, any type of user role, RANDOMLY is getting changed to Admin.

As far as I know there has been nothing malicious done.

There are no new users being created and I can account for every user on the site.

I have NO IDEA what is going on and would greatly appreciate any assistance.

Unfortunately, we are not the correct people to help you with this matter. Our theme cannot have access to user functionality and it is something that you need to hire a developer to check.

To make sure that this is not related to our product, you can change the theme of the website to another theme, that way all the code of our theme will be disabled. Then you can check the case.
