Random Content Appearing on its own

On our page, after the update, I have content populating that was not created, no visible on the cornerstone editor. This content is only visible outside of the editor. (I had to remove this section from our page as it was a public section) Will test later.

Also, when I choose to add a slider above or below the Menu there is no option to remove it or a selection option for “None” Have to re-create the page from scratch to remove it.

Thank you for writing in and we’re sorry to hear that you seem to be having some issues. Regarding this particular situation, since you have not provided us with a link to review your site, there isn’t much feedback we can offer at this time, but I would suggest doing the following:

  1. Ensure that you flush all caches after any update. This includes your browser’s cache, any caching plugins you’re using on your website, et cetera.
  2. If you’re using a CDN such as CloudFlare, please make sure that you also clear any of these caches so that the CDN is “seeing” the new files and code from the update.
  3. If you’re using a child theme and have updated any functionality, you will want to compare that with the theme’s new files and ensure that your personal code is up to date.

If you do those three things at least, that should likely solve your issues as they sound potentially cache related. If you find that you’re still having issues after going through those items, please provide us with a URL so that we can take a look at things personally, as there is not much we can do without that as mentioned previously.

Regarding the slider options, this is a bug we’ve documented since the release and it should be addressed in a coming update to fix that along with other minor issues that were not caught during the beta.
