Question regarding licensing for X Theme

Hi there,

I’ve set up a WordPress Multisite installation, and the sub-sites are using the subdomain technique (credo.acumed.net, for example) rather than the directory technique (www.acumed.net/credo).

  1. Will a single X license key work for such a configuration? It seems that we are having to purchase a new X license for each subsite in the multisite installation.

  2. Also, if we DO have to purchase a separate license for each subdomain, is it ok for us to use the “Staging” slot of each license for a different subdomain on the same Wordpress install?

Hey David,

  1. Yes, you’ll need a separate license for each subdomain.
  2. If the subdomain is a dev site of another subdomain then that is ok. Please see the Allowed Usage section of our Terms at https://theme.co/apex/terms
