Question in regards to wordpress update message

Hi, I am getting the message “WordPress 5.2 is available! Please update now.” I’m hesitant is updating wordpress since I’m having to wait until X theme’s update to address the woocommerce issue is fixed. Should I wait to update wordpress as well? Thank you

Thanks for reaching out.

Yes, it’s best not to update it yet. Or you could try it out on a staging copy of your site. Please check this about the staging https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/slider-revolution-error-message/48874

And with staging, you can test and update it without harming your live site. It’s the recommendation approach when updating.
