Pulling images from ACF on post to essential grid on post

Hi,

I’ve spent most of today trying to figure out if and how I can set up ACF and Essential Grid to allow me to set up for images to be collected and displayed in the post in a pre-styled grid. I’ve found how to feed an images from all posts into a grid, but not how to pull the images per post on to the grid on that post.

I’d ideally like to put the grid as a shortcode into a Pro cornerstone block template … just to add to the complexity.

Does this make sense? Is it even possible?
