Pulling button text from linked page

Hi, I’ve created a page called Portfolio which has a set of thumbnail images and a button overlay.

One of these thumbnails links to a page called ‘Animation Demo Reel’. I would like the button text to be the same as the name of the page (it currently says ‘Homepage’), however I don’t want to do this manually. Is it possible to set this up using dynamic content?

Thank you for any help you can provide.

Phil

Hi Phil,

Thanks for reaching out.
You can use the Dynamic Content tag {{dc:post:title}} and add it to the Button text as shown in the given screenshot.

But if you are using a Looper Provider, you may need to add some conditions for that specific button to add the page title.

Thanks

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately I’m still having trouble getting it to work. Could I possibly ask you to login and take a look for me?

Basically I have this page:

(which is based on this layout:

And I want to have the top left item in the grid (it’s a picture of a laptop), pull the button text from this page:

When I am in the Portfolio main page layout, it seems to work, but all of the buttons are showing the same text. However when I am on the Portfolio page, the button text just says ‘Homepage’.
