"pseudo element" words showing on every button, link, hover state

We came across a super strange issue today. On the site: nicholasquality.com every button, link or hover state says the words, “Pseudo Element”… we’ve updated Pro to the latest version and Wordpress is at the 6.2 version. I’ve disabled all plugins and the issue still persists while all plugins were disabled. I’m hoping you may be able to provide some insight to this issue.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

I just wanted to add that I have rolled back the site to a previous state where the Wordpress version is at 6.0.3 and Pro is at 4.2.3… still no fix.

Hi @turnkeydigital,

Thanks for reaching out.
I would suggest you please copy your live site to a staging server and update the Pro on the staging server.
And give us access to the secure note for further investigation, including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password

To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.

Thanks

Thanks.

I’ll create a staging environment and grant you access shortly. In the meantime, here are a couple screenshots to show that this “Pseudo Element” is coded within the index CSS somehow. For now, I am going to add some extra CSS to “display: none;” on that … but this will need to be addressed moving forward.

Thanks!

Hi @turnkeydigital,

It will be surely investigated and fixed but before that, we need to know the reason behind the problem. Please share the staging credentials once it is ready.

Thanks
