Hi Bill,

This is an ongoing issue and has already been reported to our issue tracker, but unfortunately, there has been no news on this till now. I will add your thread to this issue, so our development team will be aware of multiple reports on this.

I’ve discovered this isn’t Cornerstone / Pro. The Short Description field is in fact the Excerpt by any other name. It is default behaviour by Wordpress to strip formatting from this field. To achieve a formatted description, use the Woo Long Description field, and if necessary adjust the Single Product layout accordingly.
