Product Filters for WooCommerce not displaying correctly on Category Archive Pages for logged in members

Hi there,

I’ve been troubleshooting a plugin conflict on my site and I’ve got it narrowed down to my theme (PRO child) and WooCommerce Photography plugin.

The issue is that the product filters are not displaying on category archive pages ONLY for logged-in members on my site. (Non-member visitors seem to be able to view them just fine.

Switching my theme to Storefront, with only WooCommerce + WooCommerce Memberships + WooCommerce Photography + Product Filters for WooCommerce active, the product filters display correctly (after I re-add the product filters to the store sidebar widget.)

With PRO child theme active, and only WooCommerce + WooCommerce Memberships + Product Filters for WooCommerce it displays correctly. In fact, I can activate all my other plugins EXCEPT WooCommerce Photography and the filters display correctly for logged-in users.

However, when I activate WooCommerce Photography, the filters no longer display correctly on the category archive page. Only some filter options appear.

Any idea why this might be?

I keep getting this error message about my theme template files being outdated, but my developer tells me we’re not using those pages, so it shouldn’t affect anything. Maybe that’s incorrect? Here is a screenshot of the files that are out of date: https://www.dropbox.com/s/jk209zbv179sjw9/Screen%20Shot%202020-10-20%20at%2010.57.38%20AM.png?dl=0

Thanks!

Hi @sbjess,

Thanks for reaching out.

Since you are done with the basic troubleshooting and the issue still persists. I guess this is a conflict with the Pro Theme and the WooCommerce Photograpy plugin. We need to check your website, please give us the following information in a Secure Note.

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin level username and password

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts.

Thank you.

Thanks for your assistance. I’ve added the URL, un + pw in a secure note.

Hello @sbjess,

Regretfully the given credentials do not work for us. Kindly double-check.

Thank you in advance.

I’ve turned off privacy for the staging domain and created new logins for both the staging site and the live site.

Hello @sbjess,

I have logged in and compared the StoreFront and the Pro theme side by side. I got the same results. Kindly check out the image below:

This means that the modifications that you have added to your child theme are causing this issue. We highly recommend that you temporarily remove your modifications one at a time to figure out which of the changes resulted in this issue.

Be advised that custom development is beyond the scope of our support. We can only give you pointers and guidance. Any code added in your child theme, it is best that you contact the creators of the code or the developer if you have hired one to do the customizations for you.

Thank you for your understanding.

Thanks for the response. I’ll reach out to my developer.

Hello @sbjess,
