Product category page not working

Hi there, I’m having an issue assigning a layout to a category page. I duplicated the layout I use for the overarching shop page, set the condition to be product category is Some Category, but it’s seemingly assigning it to the Single layout for the one product in that category.

Any insight is much appreciated!

Hello Jon,

Thanks for writing to us.

It seems that you have assigned multiple layouts to the shop page I would suggest you please remove the shop condition from the product category archive layout and assign this layout for only the product category since you have a specific shop layout that is already rending for the shop page.

Please note you must purge all the cache clear your browser cache and recheck it or check in the private mode of the browser.

Hi, thank you for your response!

I disabled and cleared all caches, still no luck I’m afraid. The “Wine Archive” was only assigned to that Product Category. Please feel free to edit/mess around with it. I have a current backup that I can clone to continue working.

Hi Jon,

The Priority has to be set to a lesser value to override. I have set it to -20, and now it is assigned to the Wine Archive as expected.
