Product Category dropbox in navigation bar

Hi there,

May I ask, is it possible to have a product category dropbox in the navigation bar rather than on the side bars?

Hi Kevin,

Thank you for writing in, yes you can add a Category menu-item on your menu, and then add each of your categories under that menu so they become the child of that Category menu-item.

Hi Friech,

Sorry, I could not understand the example given. As the category id like to put in are product categories, they dont have the option over in Appearance > Menu to put it in.

Hey Kevin,

Please click on Screen Options located in the upper right-hand corner in Appearance > Menus and enable your desired Terms.

It will then be availabe under the Add menu items sidebar.

Hey Kevin,

That is the easiest and manual way of doing it without any custom coding. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.
