Product being doubled in cart - Woocommerce

Hi there!
I have this ‘weird’ bug that when i add a product to the cart instead of 1 product being added the product appears 2 times in the cart. This only happens with one product it seems and it only happens when i press the 'add to cart; button on the shop overview page and not when i press ‘add to cart’ on the product details page. I tried changing the theme to TwentyTwenty to see if the problem stil occurs but when a different theme is activated all seems to be normal. So i guess there’s something not configured correctly in the Pro theme.
Could you please help me out?

Thanks a lot!

Hi @franky,

Thanks for reaching out.
There might be a few different reasons for this issue, I would suggest you troubleshoot the common issues related to it.

1.Plugin Conflict
2.Child Theme Related issue *** if you have activated the child theme.
3.CSS/JS Customization

I created a secure note… it’s on top of your post

Hello Franky,

You must have done something because when I investigated the issue, I could not replicate it from my end. As soon as I add to cart one product, it is reflected in my cart.

Kindly clear all your plugin caches and your browser cache too. It is best that you use private browsing mode or the Incognito mode in your Chrome or Firefox browser and test your site again.

Ok… could you double check… it happens when i order a ‘natural’ flavoured tea. And only when i press the “add to cart” button in the overview page. Not on the product page.

Hi Franky,

Enabling the AJAX add to cart buttons on archives from WooCommerce > Settings solved the issue.

Thanks

That’s awesome! thank you!
Glad it was such an easy fix. Have a nice weekend
