Problems with recent post excerpt

Hello,

I do not understand two things on the recent post section on the homepage of my website.

  1. The third article doesn’t have any excerpt. Why and how to fix it? See here: https://prnt.sc/kaa25y
  2. The “Lire la suite” text should be in the color of the category of the article (in that case yellow) but it is not working. It used to work but somehow not anymore. Do you know how I can fix it?

Hey @Camilletra,

It is recommended to use the Manual Excerpt because Cornerstone content could not show up sometimes. Here’s a guide on setting up the manual excerpt.

Thank you. It doesn’t really help me though but I guess it means I just need to do a little more work on each article if I want it to work correctly.

There’s currently no solution to show Cornerstone content excerpt so you need the manual method.

For number 2, that does not look like a feature offered in the theme. Please note that if you got the custom code here in the forum, there’s no guarantee that it will work in the future. Custom codes here only serve as a guide. We could not maintain them nor update them.

If I missed that feature, would mind posting the link to our demo or documentation so that I could test it in my staging site and I would confirm if it is a bug and post it in our issue tracker.

Thank you for the explanatiob. I have another related question. On my blog page, you can see that there is an article with no “Lire la suite” text at the end of the excerpt and one article with ne excerpt at all.

Is this coming from the same problem? This is strange to me as all the article are done in the same way.
