Problems with moving from staging envoirment to live site after Pro upgrade

Hi there,

I have upgraded my site to Pro theme (former X user). However after moving my site from the staging envoirment (siteground) to live I am experiencing major issues. It does not seem to be a problem related to the staging envoirment, plugins or caching (I contacted siteground and the issue was escalated to a senior dev who referred me back to this forum “it seems that there are hard-coded URLs in your application, referring to www.staging10.***.co.”).

I am sure there is a simple fix for this but I can not figure out what may be causing this. I am attaching the crendtials in a note. Thanks in advance for your kind assistance.

Hi There,

Thanks for writing in! You will need to properly migrate your site in-order to overcome this issues. Please follow our migration guide here and setup a new copy (https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/cornerstone-content-builder-migration/126/1).

Hope that helps.

@mldarshana

I used sitegrounds “push to live” function to “migrate” the site from the staging version to live. Could you please elaborate which steps specifically you think I should complete? Thanks a lot.

Hi,

It looks like there are some missing files. Can you try push to live one more time.

Before doing that try to clear SG cache in staging then deactivate that plugin in staging.

Thanks

I have tried pushing to live again and have also tried to work with siteground staff to resolve this. However it seems like they are some missing files causing the mess. Still when I push to live no files are shown as missing. I would love to add the missing files but I have no way of figuring out what is missing :open_mouth:. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi,

Can you provide us your FTP login in secure note.

Thanks

Hi there,

It’s because of your CloudFlare, please log in to your CF and go to Speed section and turn off CSS and JS minification. And under Cache, then on same Speed section, scroll down and turn off the rocket loader.

Then go to Page rules section and make sure these rules are added (in the secure note). And each rule should have bypass cache and disable performance configuration.

Then, after all these changes, go to cache section and purge everything.

Thanks!

@Rad THANK YOU SO MUCH! Solved.

Glad to hear it!
