Problems with Essential Grid Slowing Down Site

Hello Support,

I hired a WP web developer to speed up my site and he said that essential grid is slowing down the site and he can’t figure out how to fix it.

Essential grid causes to load the images with a delay even though the images load fast.

When you open a page with the essential grid, the page loads, then there is a delay, and then the images fold opens on the grid.

If you run this webpage through gtmetrix, you can see this delay in the waterfall.

What is going on here? The only thing I could find on this is this old post on the forum.

So it might be related to AJAX?

It seems like these scripts are responsible for the loading the images on the grid?

/wp-content/plugins/essential-grid/public/assets/js/esg.min.js

Maybe it has something to do with the skin that I’m using?

I could really use some help here.

This didn’t help at all.

There is a problem with the essential grid plugin, not my site speed.

Please look into my issue and provide support and not some overpriced boost service

I’d try removing any filtering or arranging it is doing. Those two scripts are probably arranging and grabbing every software plugin at once. This does go beyond Pro/X support and I’ve checked your site and have seen the same thing your developer has found. Let us know if you have any questions and have a great weekend!
