Hi, I’m having some issues with the cornerstone editor not displaying elements correctly. As you see from the following screenshots, it’s not showing in the editor the way it is in the front end.
I will leave login credentials in a secure note in case you need to get in and have a look - thanks.
Hello @DesignMunky,
Thanks for writing to us.
I checked your site it seems it is rendering fine on my end I have tested it on Google Chrome version 121.0.6167.160. It might be the issue of browser cache I would suggest you please clear your browser cache and recheck it.
Thanks
Hi Prakash, I cleared the cache and the issue persists. In fact its now showing on other pages.
I am using a newer version of chrome: Version 121.0.6167.184 (Official Build) (x86_64)
Regards,
darren.
Hi @DesignMunky,
I have checked and found the same as my colleague Prakash. Can you please mention the device, browser name and version, and also the operating system you are using, that helps us to replicate the issue at our end?
Thanks
Hey Tristup,
I’m using an iMac 2020 running Sonoma 14.3.1 (23D60), Chrome Version 121.0.6167.184 (Official Build) (x86_64).
Thanks
Darren.
Hey Darren,
The issue could be because of the negative margins you added to the Image element.
I will be the one to design that way, my element structure would be like this:
Section
Div - Container
Div - Container
Headline
Div - Image Wrapper
Image element
where you can position the Image Wrapper as Absolute
and then apply Top
and Right
values.
Hope this makes sense. Kindly let us know how it goes.
Hi Reunel,
I tried your suggestion and it worked afrer refreshing the page…but as soon as I went in to make some changes to the positioning of the div it jumped to a weird position as shown. Also, you will notice the div below with the background image went from having rounded corners (correct) to square corners and a smaller height.
Thanks,
Darren.
Hey Darren,
I cannot replicate the issue. This is what I am seeing:
Please send us a video screencast or the URL of the page that you are editing.
Thanks.
Hi Reunel,
I ended up changing that page so it worked in a different way. But I am still having the same type of issues with other sites I’m working on. Please refer to the image below showing the Builder and What is rendered on the front end.
The page URL is https://darrenh76.sg-host.com/
I will leave login details in the secure note section if you need to login…
thanks!
Can someone please go in and have a look at this site. Its starting to happen on other sites now and I really need to work out what the problem is. It’s almost become unworkable in its current state. EVERY time I make any changes, the display falls apart and I have to save, refresh to see any changes. Example:
