Problems changing post carousel to pages on localhost

I followed the instructions as outlined here https://theme.co/apex/forums/topic/ethos-carousel-with-pages/, as well as here https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/ethos-carousel-with-pages-instead-of-posts/50812. However, all I am getting is a blank space above the masthead where the carousel should be. I am using this is a staging area on localhost. Can you help me please. I am using Ethos 1

Hello Joe,

Thanks for writing in!

Please make sure that all of your posts has a featured image. And then go to X > Theme Options > Ethos > Blog Options. The Filterable Index option must be turn off.

I’m afraid that didn’t work.

Just to reiterate I want the carousel to show pages and not posts. I only bring this up as you referenced post in your reply.

Hi Joe,

Thank you for the clarification. Carousel is only for the posts, currently there is no option to show pages instead of posts. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.
