Hello,

I have there a problem with the combination of the filter. On the example page, I have included two filters that provide results through the AND function.

Is it somehow possible that in a filter automatically turn off the filter when the next one is clicked? Currently, the filters are added to the next. Do you understand what I mean?

I would like it to work as on this page: http://relaunch.firmenkontakttag.de/veranstaltungen/

Here, the filter is always automatically deactivated when a different one is clicked.

Do you need access to the backend?

Hi There,

Access the GRID | Filters | Select OR instead of AND

Filter Combination Logic
Select a filter logic (for multiple filter selected at the same time).

ANDOR

  • AND - Shows elements that meet all selected filters
  • OR - Show elements that meet at minimum one of the selected filters

Unfortunately, it did not help. It is still so that always a filter is selected more. The others are not deselected until you click on the filter.
Does anyone have a different idea?

Is it possible that the OR & AND - Logic does not work? It has no effect when I change this setting. I’ve tried this before.

Hello,
Unfortunately I can not find any difference to before. It is still so that in a filter when a total of two are activated, one click adds another. However, a previously selected one is not deselected.

I wish that one filter is automatically deselected when another one is clicked.

It is about this filter: [the_grid name = “JOBS | PRKATIKA | THESIS”] on this site: http://relaunch.firmenkontakttag.de/jobs-praktika-thesis/

Filter 1 has 7 filters
Filter 2 has 4 filters

On the screenshot, you can see that all filters are selected. It should however be that only one per filter can be selected. The search results are thus formed by a membership from the upper and lower filter.

Hi there,

Please try disabling the Filter Combination option, that allows multiple selections, which means, multiple active filters too.

Hello Iam,

I’ve already tried that. Then I have the problem that either an item from the upper or an item from the lower filter is selected. However, it should be possible to use both filters together.

I changed the URL to login.You can see the new URL in the secu-note.

Hi there,

The upper and lower part filters are a different group of filters, like a combination of multiple filters that can be selected at the same time. Hence, it’s not possible to have just one selection where there are many group of filters.
