Problem with the Corestone website builder, and the Submenu

Hi!
I have the X-theme with the Integrity stack and have it installed on the domain new.calamiaresort.com.

Under the Apperance - Customize - Header I choose to have a 80 px space at the top under “Navbar Top Alignment”. However, if you look at the website, when I hover over the menu the submenu doesnt follow this rule and appears in the middle of the menu. How can I change this?

I also want to remove the orange color at the top when you hover over a menu item. Can I remove this with CSS.

Under Layout & Design I choose fullwidth and 100 %, still it appers a grey frame around the home page where I want to place the text. How can I remove this?

One last question. I cant turn on the Corestone website builder since the whole website stops working when I try to do this. I get the message: “No suitable preview area found. This could happen when a third party plugin is overriding the content area”. Would you like to have my log in info to see if something is wrong? I would really like to use the corestone builder, it is one of the reason i purchased the X-theme.

Thank you so much for your help!

Kind regards
Maria Ericsson

Hey Maria,

Thanks for writing in. It is the Navbar Top Height that controls the submenu position because the intended design is it should dropdown below the Navbar like this:

Try setting the height to 158.

Thanks.

Thank you!
It helped to put in 158 px in Navbar Top Height.

I still have the other two questions. If you look at the homepage of new.calamiaresort.com, under the rev slider, the page is “boxed” with a light grey background an a shadow round the box. I want to remove that and want everything to be full width and white background.

I have following settings:
Site layout: Fullwidth
Site max width: 1400
Site width: 100
Content layout: Fullwidth

Why is it still a box around the content?

Last question. Every time I try to turn on the Corestone website builder for any page I get the message: “No suitable preview area found. This could happen when a third party plugin is overriding the content area”. How can I get the Corestone website builder to work?

Thank you!!

Kind regards
Maria

Hello @h08meric,

Thanks for updating the thread.

  1. You can change the body background color from X > Theme Options > Layout and Designs > Background Options > Background Color and select white from color picker to change the background color.

  1. Cornerstone error: The error you are getting might be because of a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third-party plugins, and see if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Thanks.

Thank you for your reply!

  1. I have changed the background color to white, and changed to following settings:
    Site layout: Fullwidth
    Site max width: 1800
    Site width: 90
    Content layout: Fullwidth

Still it is a box with a light grey shadow around all text blocks. See for example here:

or here http://new.calamiaresort.com/contact/

I want to remove this shadow so the website really is fullwidth, and not a “boxed” layout.
I tried to find the shadow and target it with CSS but couldnt find it when I inspected the site.
Please help me with this!

  1. Thank you, it was a collide with the Beaver Page Builder.

Kind regards
Maria

Hi @h08meric,

It’s already in full-width, the one in dark shadow is the container wrapper which is present in a page with a container. For that, please edit your page and change its template to Blank - No Container | Header, Footer template.

Thanks!
