Problem with staging site in localhost

Is it still possible to develop the site in localhost and then when finished send it to the web server?

I tried but by entering the theme activation code I get this warning/error:

Your code is valid but looks like it has already been used on another site. You can revoke and re-assign within your Themeco account.

In the user area of the Themeco account I entered http://localhost:8888/ as local address in the staging field.

May I know the exact URL on your localhost? The validation will only work on identical URL where the site is installed, example http://localhost:8888/dev/

And unfortunately, we can’t check and troubleshoot it since it’s on your local. But I already tested and validation works on my local install.

Exact url is http://localhost:8888/wbms/

I tried to change the staging field at this address but it doesn’t solve the problem.

Hi Daniele,

May I know which license you’re trying to validate? There are two licenses are both have localhost staging. Please provide it in the secure note, then I’ll try the validation on my local install as well with your license to see if it’s specific to that one.

Now it works, I had entered the staging url in the other site. My mistake. The discussion can be closed.
