Problem with Site Address being used instead of WordPress Address (Reverse Proxy)

Hi!

I have a site setup with reverse proxy where my main site example.com links example.com/blog to my Wordpress site blog.example.com. I’ve set this up on the WP site like this:

Wordpress Address: https://blog.example.com
Site Address: https://www.example.com/blog

All works well when browsing the site but when I am logged in on https://blog.example.com/wp-admin and try to access Cornerstone or other editor parts it seems that the plugin uses the site address instead and hence, won’t work. Is there something I should set up differently or is this a bug in the X Theme/Cornerstone?

Best regards,
Bjorn

Hey There,

Pointing out your site url from a different WordPress Address url will always result to any issue especially with Cornerstone. I would highly recommend that you install WordPress in the correct domain which means that site url and WordPress address url should always be the same. It does not matter if the WordPress address url is on a different folder as long as they are on the same domain.
For example:

site url : http://www.example.com
WordPress address url : http://www.example.com/wordpress/

Please let us know how it goes.
