Problem with Revolution Slider Background Transparency

Hi there,

I have a Rev slider set to Auto, 1000x500. It sits inside a Section that has Column Container on. The background of the section is a gray ( #A9ABAD )

I set the background of the slider to Transparent. So all the slides are white Text on top of Transparent.

Yet, as you can see in the pic, the slider is not transparent, it has become darker. It looks like there is an overlay but I don’t have one set. I have looked everywhere I could think, but obviously am missing something.

Can you please help?

I am having the same issue.

My background is set to transparent and now it has turned white so you can no longer see the white text layers!

I hope they reply soon as I have a deadline to complete this website!

I am a little dissappointed that no one at ThemeCo has replied to my post. It’s been two days.

I will keep you posted. I ended up not using Revolution Slider but it is bundled with ThemeCo and should be supported.

Very happy to hear from you, I was thinking my username had a red flag next to it

So I did a workaround for that particular slide so it is not necessary now to recreate it but I do have another Revolution Slider issue that I don’t know how to solve.

The slider is called edgy.

Each slide has a different background and three lines of animated text.

My client wants to be able to hover on the slide to discuss the text with any of his clients.

I applied the setting Stop Slide On Hover but the animated text still moves, it doesn’t stop on hover.

I saw a Rev Slider document (http://www.themepunch.com.cach3.com/index.html@p=9998)

which says “This technique will only work with Layers that do not disappear before the current slide changes (i.e. “snapped” to the end of the timeline).”

I don’t know what that means and I am afraid to change anything because today is my deadline.

Can you please help me with that?

Hi there,

It means it only works for the layer that doesn’t fade out before the slider ends. And to do that, you need to snap your layer to the end of the slider time.
