I am having trouble with a revolution slider on my site. I’ve enabled custom grid sizes, but when I click between the different viewport sizes in the editor, it changes the layout for the slide in all view sizes. I’ve checked it against the settings I have used in previous sites’ rev sliders, and cannot find a difference that would be causing this. Can you help?

Sorry, but it doesn’t. My problem is that when I make changes to the different breakpoint sizes, and then save them, they are also changed in all of the other breakpoints. For example, I have the slide the way I want it in desktop view. I save it, then switch the view to smartphone, make layout changes there, save it again. When I switch back to desktop view, everything has moved based on what I did in the smartphone view. I have never encountered this issue before, and I have used Rev Slider a number of times. Is there some kind of compatibility issue? I don’t think I am doing this incorrectly.

Off course it will move because you are changing the position of the layer. If you want to have a different look for each view or wanted to have the positions of your layers different in different breakpoints, it is best that you make the layers only visible for that breakpoint. For example, you can have 4 headline that each of the headline is only visible in 4 different breakpoints. Simply click the layer and click its visibility. Please check this out:

The layers are meant to be resized for each viewpoint- you don’t have to create duplicate layers for each viewpoint. The video you sent was a) outdated and b) not relevant to what I’m trying to do, but I went through all of their other videos and this one shows what I am trying to do, and confirms that I am doing it correctly, but it is not saving correctly. Start at around 3:56 to see what I mean.

Can you please specify what changes have you done with you layers on different viewports.
Please note that you can only change the layer size but not the content itself.
I duplicated your slider for testing and played with it and all seems to be working fine.
If you want different layers on different viewports you can use the layer visibility options

Thanks. I was able to figure it out last night. The issue was that I was saving after adjusting each viewport, and I figured out that you can’t save the slide until after you make changes in each viewport.
I hope this helps someone else because it is not in their documentation anywhere, and it is somewhat intuitive to save between switching viewports.
