Hi,
I need to redirect users using old url to the new url (oldurl.com -> www.newurl.com). The wordpress site is accessible using both addresses however we want to make everyone to use new url now. Is there a plugin or change of settings that would help us to accomplish it.
Hello there,
Thank you for writing in
You may use the following redirection plugin to setup your redirects: https://wordpress.org/plugins/redirection/
Alternatively, you may use your .htaccess file to setup the redirects
An example .htaccess code that could be used would be:
RewriteEngine on
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.newdomain.com$1 [R=301,L]
I hope this helps.
