Problem with Post list sorting in Query Builder

Hi
I want to list Posts from multiple categories and then sort these chronologically by date. I want the posts from multiple categories to list, mixed, by date. But the problem is that the posts are listed by category first, then by date. I want the date to be the only sorting. The category should only work as a filter/selector.

Order is set to “Order by Date / Descending”. But in reality, it is set as “Order by Category > Date”. Is there a workaround for this?

Based on your screenshot, the post will display and order by date but we are not quite sure why it is not working properly on your end. Would you mind sharing your admin credentials so that we can check on your setup properly? To do that, please give us the following information in a Secure Note.
