Problem with navbar on mobile not solved

Hi,

Referring to an earlier post I wrote about 2 weeks ago ( https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/trouble-with-navbar-om-mobile/1453 ) - There is a problem with navbar on mobile when you have a tree structure, where a lot of the menu alternatives cannot be reached.

It was supposed to be fixed in the next update. I just updated and it seems the problem still occurs. Can you help me fix this?

Thanks in advance!

Hello There,

Thanks for updating in! X Pro 1.1.1 is now available in automatic updates! This release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog (https://theme.co/changelog/). Please do update to the latest version. After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

Please let us know how it goes.

I have the latest version but experiencing the same problem.

Hello There,

I can confirm that this is still not fix in the latest release. I will follow up our developers on this issue as it affects all users. Please bear with us.

Thank you for your understanding.

Well, it’s a catastrophic problem we have with main menu on mobile.
It’s not just effecting all users, it renders the main menu useless on mobile devices if you have multi level menu.

Hello There,

Our developers is already working on it. I will follow on this and have them respond later on.

Thank you for your understanding.

Its been 5 more days now. Can you perhaps supply a quickfix while the developers are working on it? Is there a planned launch date for the actual fix?

Hi again,

To fix the issue, you can add the following CSS code in the Theme Options > Global CSS or in the Customizer via Appearance > Customize > Custom > Edit GLOBAL CSS

[data-x-collapse="opening"]>ul.sub-menu {
    overflow: auto !important;
    height: auto !important;
}

Don’t forget to clear your browser’s cache after adding the code. Let us know how this goes!

Will there be a permanent solution?

Hi @djinnie ,

Thanks for writing around! You can use the above code to fix it temporarily until the fix is released, as mentioned above our developers are already working on it.

Thank you for understanding!

Hi,

The fix works very well. Thanks!

Glad it worked for you.

Cheers!

Is there a permanent fix for this? The problem is still there.

On Jul’17 @Nabeel commented with: “developers are already working on it”. Still working on this?

Hey @djinnie,

I could not give an ETA but the official fix for this might be available soon in one of the coming releases.

For now, you will have to apply the temporary fix provided by @Nabeel https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/problem-with-navbar-on-mobile-not-solved/3055/8?u=christian_y

Thank you for understanding.
