I have a site that switches out the main logo for a mobile logo in mobile view. The solution we use currently is one that you offered another user previously, but we noticed it was not working anymore. I am not sure, but I think something with the newer versions may not be working with the javascript now or it is something else. Can you post the javascript recommendation that you know works now with the current x theme version so I can test it?

I have tested your link on both desktop, mobile device, chrome mobile developer tools and I see that your logo is changing properly.
Your issue could be related to caching as well. Could you please try clearing full cache and re-test your issue further. Also test your issue on Incognito mode as well (https://www.lifewire.com/incognito-mode-google-chrome-4103635).
